Help me if you have any tricks. I have had this pair of Peas only about 3 weeks. And she got out and is 2 farms over. I still have him penned. Can I make him scream or anything to call her home or will he do it himself. Or is she just gone?

Are they grown or young ones?

Was it scared off or did it just fly away?

Sorry one got loose, things happen sometimes no matter how careful we are.

I had my peahen fly off about a week ago but I have her back now. All I did was give her time. If there are no other fowl around for her to get the easy food her stomach will bring her back. Just keep your eyes open for her and if you can I waited till after dark to try and catch mine.

I am so glad yours came back, that gives me hope. I knew better than to go after her. I have the only birds of any kind in probably a 4 mile radius. So I am hoping that will help.

If she does not come back in a day mabe if you have a laptop you could hook an external speaker to it and play some peacock calls from youtube.

I did this with my geese just to see how they would react and they honked their heads of and looked all over for the other geese, just a thought

If this works just wait till she comes to the cage you keep her in and open the door and move back, she will go in on her own, mine do.

Be very carefull i have learned from mine that once something spooks them they are very scared of it next time they see it,be it another bird or object.

Good luck and keep us posted.

You need to stay in one place when calling her up, if you move to different areas she will be all over the place, sound travels in different directions as you turn or move she will not know where the call is comming from, i learned this from trying to call up my dogs when they were after something.

Hope this helps.
