My sister was at a dog show, and her dear husband fed her laying hens some medicated chick starter. I bought some BLRW eggs that her broody NHR hatched for us. So that is why she had the medicated chick starter. So her husband didn't know which bag is which. So the bag says 'don't feed to laying hens' does she need to throw out the eggs for 3 weeks? She has several egg buying customers and it would be horrible to throw them out! Please help... Thanks everyone.

I am not sure how much of it they ate and for how long it was offered to them. But I did a quick search on BYC and the posts I read said everything should be ok. And that there wouldn't be enough of the medication passed to the eggs to hurt anything. Hope that helps!!

Ok thanks. It looked to me like he fed them about 5-8 pounds she has about 65 chickens. And she feeds them in a large trough. I'll let her know its ok.

It is fine, don't worry about it!
