Hello my " Chicken and Duck Friends ",

I was supposed to be getting my 2nd Custom Built coop from , ( who I will NEVER RECOMMEND , by the way , not because of the quality of the coop, but because of the Rudeness and Abusive behavior of

    the owner ),

He " forgot " to alter my first coop for my ducks, and 2 months later, I STILL have Not received the CORRECT parts for my coop ( which he said he "mailed" 8 days ago )..

He then " felt so bad " because he forgot to " alter the coop " for me since I am a woman who is a Veteran of the 1st Gulf War who became handicapped, that he " built me another coop " and was " shipping it out 3

Before " I was able to pay for it, stating that " youve waited so patiently , long enough, because I messed up , therefore, you are Top of the List and Im shipping it out, and will send you your tracking number later in the

    day ( June 13 ) ".

I NEVER heard from him for 3 days when I recieved the Most Abusive email Ive seen sent to a Customer !

He called me " Angry, Hateful, Unappreciative " among other things..

Mind you, I Had Been spreading the word to everyone I know, just How gorgeous my coop was, How Kind the owner/builder was, etc.

    In a Nutshell,

He " sold " my New coop to someone else and wanted me to now buy a Much Smaller UnAltered coop, for my Handicap, for More than the one he was supposed to ship !

I have 6 chickens who have NO COOP now,

and STILL no corrected ramp for the coop I have now..

Is there ANYONE who can help me get a coop Now??

Im on VA disability and Im not rich by any means, but I just need a nice safe coop.

I live in Upper Peninsula of Michigan, and am willing to travel anywhere up here, to Northern Lower Michigan, Northern Wisconsin, Green Bay etc, As well as Northern Minnesota,

I Posted , Also, my Immediate Need for ANOTHER baby Chick to hopefully " bond with " and Help out of a depression, my 3 week old Jersey Giant Hen.

She is the " odd chicken out " since all other chicks have their own little groups.

That post , containing further info regarding this baby, is posted under the Raising Baby Chicks , section.

Hopefully someone here will have a coop for sale , AND/OR a baby chick , for me.

    Thanks everyone,

He was SUPPOSED to be shipping the Correct ramp for my 1st coop with my New coop.

Wow, I would like to say how sorry I am that you were treated this way.[IMG]. By under no means should this jerk ever treat you this way. Completely uncalled for. I know what it's like to live that limited lifestyle. I broke my neck 3 years ago at the age of 33. Luckily I can still somewhat walk, but the pain is horrific. I'm praying that someone will come fourth to help you. Owning chickens has been greatly rewarding and I've only had them a little over 3 months.

Maybe you can also put a wanted add on craigslist. Good luck!

Check craigslist or nearby farm feed stores, they might know of someone who could build a coop for you. My Local farm feed store sells coops too (kinda pricey though). Good luck!

I had a similar experience with him. I bought a coop and he forgot the doors for the run. He kept telling me he'd send them but never did. He finally said you can just build them yourself, it's really easy. I would NOT recommend buying a coop from him. [IMG]
