Help! Need answers!

Had you had her long? Sneezing can be a sign of respiratory disease, but it also can be nothing. Respiratory diseases such as infectious bronchitis, ILT, or mycoplasma would have more symptoms--watery eyes, nasal drainage, sometimes rattles or wheezes when breathing, and sometimes swelling around the eyes or face. A history of symptoms is always helpful for the vet doing a necropsy. They may also be able to tell you if there are any diseases currently present in your state.

I'm so very sorry for your loss. I can tell you I lost a bird in almost the same way. (Throwing up water, wheeze, ect) the cause was a respiratory virus. As to the exact virus I can't tell because no testing was done. My guess is your bird had a respiratory virus as well. That would be my guess be cause symptoms are so similar to what happened to mine. I can tell you mine WAS contagious and my other birds in my flock got it as well. So you might want to keep a very close eye on your other birds. Watch for ANY signs they may be ill like wheezing, lethergic, off their feed, ruffled feathers, sneezing, coughing, mucus, swollen eyes, ect. Just to be on the safe side watch them closely for awhile. I really hope this helps and again I am so very sorry about your loss. It's always hard to loose a beloved pet. Believe me I how how it feels. I wish the best for you and for your flock.

hard to say, keep an eye out for more sneezing or discharge. If so, ask for antibiotics at the feed store.

When you say her neck was limp, do you mean she could stand but not raise her head? Were her eyes open? Was she making any noises? Was her skin on her face pink or blue ish? She may have got something stuck in her windpipe and vomiting was the last attempt to dislodge something.

She had her eyes closed and her neck was limp on the ground but she was breathing heavily. She was partially standing. I took her out into my lap and petted her- hoping to comfort her, she then started throwing up and flipping out. As I petted her her eyes stayed closed and she squawked once. After about 10 seconds the throwing up and flipping started, then she just stopped breathing :'(

Realsis, I had not introduced her to the flock yet but she was with a golden comet- so I have a feeling she'll get sick. What can I do to prevent her from getting the disease/dying like Oreo? Thanks for the support guys

Had she been out free ranging? Is there any way she could have eaten anything like rotted vegetaion, maggots, or a decayed animal or fish carcass? Botulism can cause paralysis of the legs, then wings, then a paralyzed neck which gives this disease it's other name--limberneck (not to be confused with wry or crook neck.) Only a tiny amount of the botulism toxin has to be eaten to kill a chicken. Here is some information about botulism in case that could be a cause:
