My husband has given in and said I could get chickens. He has even said he will build a coop for me. My husband is very analytical and has to have plans with a supply list and step by step instructions.he is however very good at building stuff. I have searched high and low but can't find anything that I like. Here is what we want, a coop big enough to house 6-10 chickens, one I can stand in and if possible, be on wheels. Twice I have been ripped off, once by a scam that never downloaded and one off eBay. So far nearly sixty dollars for nothing.

In did look at all the great pictures of coops on here, but very few had supply sheets or step by step instructions. I don't want anything fancy, just big enough and safe for my chickens. Can someone please help, I am getting very discouraged. I promised our kids we would get chickens soon.

My husband has even agreed to ask off from the dear ole Army to build it. I would appreciate any help.
:D
Thanks'

You might have a better time finding directions for a normal shed kit, and then modifying a little bit. You can find those things all over the Internet.

Try the book, Chicken Coops for Dummies. I was able to check it out from my library. It has several plans, material lists, etc... If you can't get it from your library, see if a book store has a copy, you can always look before you buy.

I did come across a few posts on this board where people did post some of their sketches/plans... Try the search function. If I come across any I'll post links.

Good luck.
