I have speckled sussex and some sussex mix (orp, rock, australorp)eggs. I need a few days to save some up. PM me if you want them, and shipping address.

*I will know by Tuesday if these are fertile- have some in the bator right now.

I have silver spangled hamburg eggs- I just got a breeding trio and have checked the first batch of eggs for fertility.

I would like to maybe sell some of them, would you like to test a batch for me?
PM me if you're interested, it would only be 6 or 7 eggs and I need a couple days to collect them.

Mr. Mercer, I'm from Georgia ....Where in Georgia are you from.....Also, I seem to see several posts where you were offering to get quails and other birds as well - believe it was bobwhites and also an astrolop?

Did you loose all your birds?

Some of these posts were at the beginning of the week????

Believe it was August 10.....

Not trying to be nosy but wondered what's going on.

If you need some free or almost free birds, I know a person in Georgia who's down sizing but it would be in my Area...

Let me know.

What have you done to change the pen and environment so this won't happen again... Thanks and welcome to BYC.

douglas lost all but 2 roosters that are about 3 months old was looking for a few bobwhites

Okay,,,,,it's too far to drive to our area - we're off I-20 on the west side of the state.

Check your Farmers Market Bulletin for Georgia as well. Sorry about your loss.

I really suggest securing your area. Your coop and putting a top on the run space as well. If your area has attacks once, these predators can attack again...

Also check with your FFA and 4H's rep (usually Coop. Ext) to ask to be on a wait list for project birds. My starter flock came from them and it was just fabulous and healthy and wonderful.

Have a blessed day.
