This is a long story so I am just asking the question...

I have 7 bantam hatchlings who are from the same clutch except 2 were incubated and hatched 1 week before the other 5. I was thinking of adding the 2 to the 5 who are with mama. Will she accept them? Or kill them? Any ideas?

They will not recognize her as momma, they will not know to go to her for protection, she may hurt them trying to protect them.

M-come back here *peck*
c- *runs away peeping*
M- No come HERE *peck*
c- hides away from food and water peeping...

When we put them in they ran straight to the other chicks and "fell in line" mama puffed up at first but when I left the coop she smoothed back out. She pecked them a few times but it did not seem to me to be out of meanness. One of them is still in there and seems to be doing well. The other climbed the fence to get out of one of the bigger holes to join thier "foster sister" who is about 4-6 weeks older but was unable to go out to the "kids" coop with her group because she was so small. So I kept her in the house and she has been with these little two since day one, they have became great friends, but we are afraid that princess will hurt her because she is so much bigger than "her" chicks.
I have made a huge mess of things. We have two coops, one for Princess and her flock that lays. And one for the chicks that are not laying but are getting bigger, problem is they are all much bigger than these three. So DH is out building a temporary coop for the "inbetweens", out of scrap lumber, we are so far out in the country, by the time he went and got lumber it would be too dark to do anything.
