Golden comets are red sex links. That is a pullet... if you have any white or mostly white golden comets, then those are cockerels
I was about to post the same thing. That's one of the handiest things about the sex links; nearly every type is extremely easy to determine the gender of as soon as they're out of the shell. Only ones like Dominique and Barred Rock are a bit more difficult.

Then I must have a very strange pullet. She does the food calling thing and has quite large comb and wattles compared to the other 3. I was told they are golden comets which are a RIR roo over a RIW hen. Is it true that thats a sexlinkage and they said it was around almost 100% accurate.
Please be a pullet...

I had a silkie hen that always called her flockmates over for food. My older pullets do this as well. It's normal.
Yes.. RIR×RIW make red sexlinks (so long as the RIW has the silver gene).
Are all your chicks red or do you have any white?

Hey guys not to jack Natalie's thread but I have a cock that looks just like the Cockerel n the picture but w green tail feathers?

I believe to be a red sex link of some sort. Not to big a boy either same size as my silver laced Wyandotte rooster not as big as my Rhode island red or barred rock
