I was about to post the same thing. That's one of the handiest things about the sex links; nearly every type is extremely easy to determine the gender of as soon as they're out of the shell. Only ones like Dominique and Barred Rock are a bit more difficult.Golden comets are red sex links. That is a pullet... if you have any white or mostly white golden comets, then those are cockerels
I had a silkie hen that always called her flockmates over for food. My older pullets do this as well. It's normal.Then I must have a very strange pullet. She does the food calling thing and has quite large comb and wattles compared to the other 3. I was told they are golden comets which are a RIR roo over a RIW hen. Is it true that thats a sexlinkage and they said it was around almost 100% accurate.
