Help needed! first hatch, conflicting info about humidity

Hi this is my first attempt recived eggs today and will be placing tomorow,
My problem is that the info i recived with my incubator says i dont have to worry about humidity untill the 18th day!
but when i look for info els were it says that there should be humidity from start to end?
iam confused what is the rite info for humidity?
any help would be much appreciated!

the first 18 days the humidity should be 45% to 50% Then you raise it to 60% to 70% on day 18 til hatch.
