One of my button quail hatched early and has been out of the egg for 24 hours do I put him in the brooder alone or wait and hope another egg hatches? Thank you

The chick will be fine for another 24hrs. I would candle the others if you still haven't had any more hatch

Being it's day 17, you're right on time of hatching. I read your OG post wrong, sorry. Yes I definitely wouldn't candle until it's a few days after day 18. Leave chick in the incubator, they'll be fine. I usually leave the 1st chick in incubator for 48hrs (time for everyone to hatch & all fully dry). Sometimes you'll have a couple end stragglers that will just stay in the incubator a bit longer than the original hatchers.
