I am looking to build a coop for about 50 laying hens. I will be using the 2 Sq. Ft. per bird rule, as they are going to be 100% free ranged.

I live in southern Oklahoma, so ventilation is a must.
Roll out nesting boxes and a poop board.

I really need it quite cheap, cheap as possible.

    Thanks all!

Please don't think I'm trying to be disrespectful, but as you mentioned, you want it lets say LOW BUDGET. Don't like that other word. What come to my mind is a old travel trailer camper. Old ones are low priced or free' for the removal. Find one that will accommodate you size needs . Redo the interior . It is already insulated and with windows for vent, Paint exterior if needed, and you have a first class hen house. . My flock is small so I re-purposed a lil tykes playhouse for my hen house.
