help needed with Chicks

I have the LG still air too. I can tell you my luck with hatches is improving as I do more and more...my luck at first kind sucked. I lost a lot mid development.

Muscovies are the one duck that takes 35 days to incubate, so yours being mixes my take somewhere between 28 and 35 days (guessing). I'd love to see some pics once your litte guy emerges!!!

Since I wasnt sure if it was a muscovy or Runner, I took it off the turner a little late I am guessing, It started ti pip right when I took it off, is it bad to leave them on the turner to long,, I know we are to take them off the turner 3 days prior but what if I leave them on there to long will that kill the baby?

The reason for the 3 days of not turning isso they can get into hatch position. My guess is if he's PIPd his position is a-ok.

I've, helped a few chicks out now, and one duck. Everything I've helped hatch has had a really long recovery from being born, or has died. The problem is they are still absorbing their yolk right up until they finally emerge and any interference can cause bleeding, lack of absorbed nutrients, etc.

I have 3 naked neck chickens 2 days overdue right now. they are all moving by either candling or the float test, but it's SO HARD for me to not PIP for them.

But I h ave promised myself to not help a bit.

I have also noticed with my LG my hatches tend to go over by 1-2 days.

My Duck Egg Just hatched and I would love to post pics but not able too, does anyone know why, or am I just doing it wrong???
