My neighbor gave me some duck eggs today to hatch. She wasn’t sure how long the mother had been sitting on them. I searched for online candling tips to see if I could figure out how old they were and they seem to be somewhere between 22-28 days old. Can anyone give me any advice on these duck eggs. I have them in the incubator with my chicken eggs bc it’s the only incubator I have. The humidity is on 49 degrees and the temp is 99.6. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

I’m new to incubating eggs also. We have 6 in there now due to hatch around Sunday. I think your humidity needs to be a little higher like around the mid 50s and then 3 days before hatch time increase it to around 65% humidity.

Duck eggs usually hatch around 28 days . Do you see a bloodline? If so, that means the embryo died. You can google and get great pictures!!!
