i have hatched 6 quail so far and still got them coming but ive got a little brown one that has like a big black wart near its bum can any1 tell me what it is?

Is it on the underside? I'm going to guess you've got a little bit of the belly button/umbilical cord sticking out. It's pretty common in larger birds like the ducks I usually hatch, and not really a problem. I have no idea whether it's a problem for quail, but I'm going to guess it will probably heal up on its own pretty quickly. But a picture would definitely help us figure out what it is.

yeah.. sounds like an umbilical stump.. no worries so long as none of the others peck at it
