Help! New Male partridge with strange feathers

I got a new Male chukar partridge and its feathers are all wrong and it doesnt seem healthy. Does anyone know what this might be? Please? And what I should do? Tks View attachment 1850614 Pic attached below.

He does look tattered. Like he hasn't been grooming, maybe.
Does he run along the walls and try to get out a lot?
Where did you get him from, and what was he fed?
Is that the cage he's living in?
What do you mean by "doesn't seem healthy"?
Hi. Tbh I have absolutely no idea about what he was eating ect... I actually found him in a box next to my house so someone must have abandoned it. Yes he is living in that cage and he's been a few weeks now. I thought he will groom himself up but there was no progress. He doesn't run along the walls alot, only occasionally. He seems to roost a little once in a while.
By "he doesn't seen healthy" I mean that his back feathers arent supposed to be in that state and he seems quite silent and calm for a Male partridge. Not sure what might be wrong with him and + I'm worried that if he has a disease, that he will pass it on to the others.
 
How big is the cage? Is there any enrichment in it at all, or is it just bare?
Have you inspected him for parasites?
What are you feeding him?
