Help, new to goats and have lots of questions

I didn't mean my post to sound snarky even though it did. I did mean it exactly as it was written, however. Since I am nice (sometimes) I really do hope you do not acquire a full sized Togg or Alpine buck. Yes, I know the OP wasn't raising dairy animals. But an intact buck as a pet is a really bad idea. Especially for a novice. Even my little Pygmy was a handful. You don't agree. That's certainly OK with me.

Cassie, your experience is definitely more valuable, in my opinion. Full of much more common sense and wisdom, too. Great information for a person new to goats to heed!

ive raised over a hundred goats and many have been bucks ive never had a problem with any of them smelling and as far as getting out of hand i handle that when needed and im not above eating one if hes too wild or hard to handle and as far as anything else goes we may have kinda misunderstood each other and thats ok we are human
