We just got this baby and she is supposed to be a bantam? She was in a bin that said silkies and bantam. She is 6 days old. So excited about our new addition DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT KIND OF BANTAM SHE IS? I think its a she...

She looks like a partridge silkie. Silkie is her breed and partridge is her color. Very very cute. I just love silkies. So much that my whole flock is silkies. I think you will really enjoy the silkie breed.they have such a sweet disposition.

I'm confused though... she doesn't have feathers on her feet. I should have posted that she has 4 toes 3 in front 1 in back and her feet are yellow.

Oooh hummmmm. Could be a cross, in that case I'm not sure. Silkies have black feathered legs and five toes. And feathered feet. Perhaps some one else knows. From the photos she looked like a little partridge. But i didn't see the feet or legs. Maybe someone else knows..also silkies beaks are not yellow.. Sorry I'm not sure. I didn't notice the yellow beak when i looked at first.

Adorable! I would say cross as well, it will be easier to guess as it gets older in a few weeks

A lot of LF breeds have bantam counter parts. There's a few breeds she could be with her coloring and a single comb. She looks to have a yellow toe, are her legs yellow? You will probably have to wait a few weeks to let her feather in before someone can tell you exactly what she is.
