Help! No power or hot water!

Hi everyone. We had a huge storm this arvo and have no power or way to get hot water. My silkie chicks are around 3 weeks old and have most of their feathers - how long can they last without heat? It will be getting down to 16c here tonight and they are in the warmest part of the house in a plastic tub to keep any heat in. There are 3 in there so I don’t know if that is enough body heat for them.

you could pop them under your jumper for a warm-up if you get really concerned they are too cold

they should be fine until power comes back on especially if indoors

If your electricity is coming back on today, that should all work.
Find another place with power on, and move them temporarily there. Friend, family, or workplace possibly available? Check now, so you have permission and a backup location.
