i'll try her on she fruit as you said . untill yesterday she was on chick starter is that what i should be giving her? she is about 13 weeks .

Yes, chick starter. To try and keep her hydrated and eating (if she stopped) the fruits and veggies and other stuff mentioned in earlier posts. Not lay crumble until she starts to lay. The same goes for the oyster shell, that just provides extra calcium and grit for her crop.
You can mix chick starter and scratch together in a covered container (I do) But make sure you have more crumble than scratch. And feed it in a feed container. You can keep some scratch not mixed with chick starter, in a separate container so you can throw some on the ground (not too much) for the chickens to scratch and peck.

How has she been doing?
After a few days of electrolytes and vitamins she will start to get nutrition back up.
I will be gone for a few days starting Fri., so if you have any questions and no one is posting on your thread, you can try and find a similar post and/or find someone that is posting a wealth of information. You, then click on the letters under their screen name and info. that is "PM". You can then directly ask that person a question. Everyone is from all over the US and world. You can even do that now if you want more info. and your hen is not improving.

she is eating her feed and sleeping ,keeps her eyes closed mostly, started the electrolytes and vitamins today, hopeing she is looking better tomorrow .

I am so sorry your sweet little hen isn't feeling good! It's so hard isn't it to see that and not know what to do to help. Hope these good folks here can do something!! Wish I could too!

to check the crop...
I like to stand behind the bird and cup the area and crop..
the crop is a little sac near the bottom of the neck, on top of the breast, slightly to the hen's right.
at roost time it should feel full.
re-check in the morning before she eats..it should feel empty or flat..somewhat like an empty balloon
feel for any lumps or grainy feeling, or doughy feeling..
also check her for any sour smell.

feed chick feed till she starts to lay...follow directions of dlhunicorn..
Poly-vi-sol baby vitamins can be found at any pharmacy.
Enfamil brand makes some with no iron..
you can try the plain yogurt, and baby oatmeal made with warm water and add cooked egg yolk...baby applesauce is an option.

describe the droppings..color and consistency.

does the bird sit hunched up?
does she have any wheezing sound?
any mucus?

Oyster shell provides extra calcium (and should not be mixed in with the feed but given free choice ) > it is not a source of grit > grit are small stones etc. that does not dissove as calcium does ... it is needed for the gizzard to function properly and should also be offered free choice (although if freeranged the birds will often just pick any up they need from the ground)...
I would not give an ill bird scratch as not only does this "dilute" the nutrition from their feed but when birds are feeling poorly their crop often moves more slowly/has issues ...
Offer the bird a live culture yogurt (free choice)
This may be related to your bird getting ready to lay for the first time.
