(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
We had chickens growing up, but I have personally had them a little over two years.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
Too many... I am probably around 60.
(3) What breeds do you have?
Marans, True Black Ameraucanas, Welsummers, Easter Eggers, White Leghorns, Whiting True Blue/Green, Barred Rock, Oliver Eggers
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
I think they are a peaceful animal (other than when they aren't). I love sitting on my chair and watching them.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
I like creating things with my hands, whether that be a new egg stand or a playset for my kids.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I have two kids, an awesome fiance, six goats, and a cat. I am an EHS Manager for a Dairy Manufacturer in Idaho.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
I found this community on Google, and I joined because I found someone that is selling some eggs that I realllllly want.
