Help ....Noticed large blister on hens foot

My daughter just sent me a picture of a large blister that has shown up on the topside of one of my hen's feet. She is walking just fine with no limp. Not sure what caused this or what to do to help her. She is a Buff Orpington and is a little over a year old, weighs about 7lb - 8lb.

Soak it in Eason salt and water for 3-5 minutes.

Can you post a picture of the bottom of the foot? It's probably bumblefoot, but need to see if there is a lesion or scab on the bottom. Here is one link, this is the treatment I usually use first:

My daughter examined the bottom and said no cuts, punctures, etc. I'm baffled as to what happened. I will check out the link you posted, thank you for your help.

Soak the foot in warm epsom salts for 20 minutes or so, get it cleaned up well, and look again. Even a tiny break in the skin, or a splinter or thorn can let bacteria in and start bumblefoot.
