help!!!! now!!!!!!!!

my 6 week old chicks are in the house with the older chickens including my roo! i sectioned off a corner of the coop with 3 ft high chicken wire. there was a little gap from the top of the wire to the top of the pen maybe 4 in. i went to church and they must have flown over it! i went to check on them as usual and they were in the house! my hens and roo werent mesing with them but is this ok????!!!!!! i love my babys and i want them alive!!!! isit ok for them to free range with the others or will they wander off? please answer!!!!!!!!

at dusk and night time the older birds are calm they wont hurt nothing its actually the best time to introduce the older birds to the younger birds... if it bothers you that they are mixed together just keep an eye on them and make sure the older ones dont draw blood on the younger cause the older ones will kill the baby if they see blood. I put my birds in early with older birds, my brooder is in coop so the birds are introduced from day 1
 
they can free range together mine always have but it may take a while for your younger birds to take to the older birds and wonder around with them... for example mine have been with the older birds a month now and they still tend to hang around coop while free ranging and the older birds go where ever they want but if a young bird wants to join they dont mind

well mayb e i would fix that in free ranging is okay as long as you keep in i on the babies mines wonder off alot my chicks


here they are they always wonder off!!!
