Help on cedar in range will it be OK

Hi all, I just raked and raked out cedar my dh put down years ago around some bushes, before chickens. but.. I have some very small bits I just can't seem to get. I will be putting some soil & pine mulch on top will the chickens (pullets) get sick ???

They should be fine. It's from the aromatic oils in the cedar chips that they can have respiratory issues when they're in an enclosed area like a coop. If it's old and out in the open I wouldn't worry about it.

Absolutely no problem at all

Outdoors, cedar is not an issue; and old cedar is not an issue. You've got both
