Hello,
I knew the day was going to come where I was going to half to play golf for some type of business activity, just didn't expect it to come so fast. So I thought I would post a pic of me practicing and maybe other real golfers out there could help me out. I've been practicing for 6-7 months and have only played one round, hopefully I won't embarrass myself

*also thought would be good testing of posting picture so if I want to post pictures of my chickens.

Sam,

From here:

Your knees seem a tad too bent, you shouldn't squat to swing.
The club angle should be more over your shoulder, not behind.
Your twist looks like it may be ok.

And i question the choice of those shoes with those shorts.

Now since you're doing this for work (i persume you also have a job that requires deals on the green?), the best advice i can give is to practice, and to snag a set of lessons. Even just picking up a $60 set of 3 lessons, you'll get help on your stance and swing, much like seeing the trainer at the gym, will teach you how to use the equipment, so a good golf teacher will show you how to use your clubs. Then practice what you've learned.

You'd not believe how many times a guy wants the newer shinnier club set that so-and-so used to win last weekend's tour, but they don't put in the time to practice.

oh yeah, if the caddy makes a suggestion, take it, they know the course better than you, and tip the beer girls well.

wow thank you so much, I have been seeing a PGA Pro teacher every day for 45 mins. I play Friday.
lol also the shoes and shorts were just gym stuff that I threw on to practice in by myself, I have all the golf pants, hat, shoes, shirt and gloves.
Thank you for the advice it was much appreciated.

Sam,

No problem man, one of the most frustrating parts of the game is people expect better gear to make them better golfers, without putting in time on the green. I can sell you the most uber of clubs, but that doesn't magically make it good. Listen to your coach, practice some, and you'll get it. My short game's getting better each time I go, but I'm still lacking on driving.
