help on nipple drinkers

i need a little help im buying a bar type nipple drinker but how do i learn my birds to drink out of it and do i put it on the inside or the outside of my coop?


how high off the floor does my nipples need to be too?


i have 3 silkies and looking at rehoming two possably three at a push ex battery hens soon.
