This baby hatched on time, maybe a few hours before it was literally day 21. However she is laying on her back most of the time. She won’t flip over. I think she was on her legs once and now this is how she’s resting all the time. She’s chirping but not really moving like my others. I have some eggs pipped so I don’t want to open the incubator…I was going to position her into a small glass jar with paper towel and set her back in the Bator. What should I do?!

I’m not an expert with chicks, so wait until someone corrects me whether you should flip her over or not.. 😅

Well something Is wrong I think. She’s laying with her legs straight as opposed to curled like the other. The other one just was taking a 1 minute rest. She popped right back up. You can clearly see the difference

Looks like you just have a chick that just hasn't found it's legs quite yet. S/he needs some training to get em balanced.

Aw, she looks sad laying on her back!
Anyway, she should learn eventually to get her legs under her. Just keep an eye on her.
