Help! One of my pullets is a roo!

I am going to cry. All 4 of my black ones have the same red comb and wattles. Does that mean that 4 of the 7 "pullets" I was sold are really roosters?

Both look like roos to me, the one in the rear on the first photo defiantly. Hens would have much smaller combs and pinkish.

Are you sure of their age? None of them look like 9 wk old pullets to me...

If they were more like 19 weeks then maybe!

Out of 10 chicks a farmer gave me and swore were hens, I ended up with four crowing roosters in suburbia. I had to learn how to kill them and eat them. It was tough, but after they were all crowing every morning inspiration did hit me.

If they're all 9 weeks, every one of them you've posted is a roo from what I can see.

9 weeks is a little early to be showing saddle feathers, but those should be appearing soon...

They are absolutely 9 weeks old. I got them when they were 4 days old. Wow, now I have to rehome 4 roosters. Anyone in my area looking for a friendly, beautiful roo, free of charge?
