"Help" overused

there are many posts going unanswered and I think it is partly due to the word "HELP" being used merely to get our attention.

I for one, do not even bother going to a post beginning with HELP hardly any more..

how about we start using that word only for real problems ??

do you know the story of the boy who cried "wolf !!" ??

Miss Prissy has been begging posters to do just that. So far, I don't see much improvement.

i agree. i try not to use "help" even if i REALLY need it because i just find it annoying. yes some problems may have you stressed out, but unless an animal has minutes left, i'm not sure you should use help. but yes, so cases do warrant the use of the word help, others don't.

I think that it needs to be a major effort for the new people. I remember panicking as a newbie and I think that is just what they are doing. We have had a massive influx of new members lately, and I think that people who have been here for a while NEED to help them so they can be helpful to others later. Reminding people now and then about not hollering HELP is probably all that is needed.
