HELP!!! Pekin duck leg injured!!

What type of antibiotics do you have on hand? Can you post some pics of his leg? Do you think it's an injury or bumble or infection?

I think it's an injury? He doesn't have bumble on that foot. Although it is warm. I dont really have any antibiotics but tylan 50. Someone said that wouldnt work.

Are you keeping him where he can’t use his leg much? Rest with injuries is always best. Please post pics of his leg. Yep Tylan won’t help with an infection or injury.

Yes, I'm keeping him in a place where he cant move it much, but I'm thinking of moving him somewhere else.

If an injury then none if infection not sure. For injury rest and aspirin or ibuprofen or Meloxicam, warm water therapy. Also there is a product called DMSO you can get it as a gel at TSC that can be rubbed on his leg.

Does the asprin have to be children's?

No but you will have to cut it into 4ths not sure if you can get him to take it in water might get him to take it slipped into a piece of tomato. If he like tomato or something similar.

I know your at work but when you can pictures will help. Rest might be the only thing you can do if you don’t see any bumblefoot. DMSO would help with inflammation and it’s easy to apply.
