Help! Pet chicken eating eggs

This morning I caught her in the act, but by then she had already eaten 7 eggs!

Seriously?!
What time of the morning?
7 birds had laid by that time?
I'd isolate her in a crate.

What all and how exactly are you feeding?
How many birds of waht ages and genders?
How big is coop and run, in feet by feet?
Dimensions and pics would help here.

My best way is to gather the eggs more. Every hour, if necessary. I have found that the more eggs, the more chance for one to break and then the egg eating starts. Be careful with the mustard eggs, if the hen eats it all she may get sick.

Yes, and replace gathered eggs with fake ones.
Mustard just makes a different kind of mess, it rarely works as birds can't taste 'spicy' stuff.

I would try all of the above, and also see about adding more protein to their diets. It’s my understanding that chickens will go to eggs as their source of protein once they discover the deliciousness inside.
