I am trying to upload pics and keep getting this

why??? I checked the properties of my pics and they are jpeg . I have never had a problem before, why now? Is there something wrong with the system?

If your file size is too big, like over a mb, or half a mb, it will often throw that error. I usually downsize before trying to upload.

I put all my photos on Photobucket and then resize them to fit a 15" monitor

I use photoshop, but you can also use a Microsoft default photo editor too if you don't have that. Just open the file in an editing program and reduce the size. Like 600 x 480 (pixels) and click save as "new name".
