Blue - kote or Blue Lotion will slow it down and also help the healing. No white light in the room, use red lights it helps hide the color of blood which is mostly what they like to peck at. As far as making them stop I'd love to hear that answer as well!

Best of luck.

How old are they and how big of a space do they have? Are they still in their brooder? I had nine of them in a fairly large brooder but by 4-5 weeks old, I had to rescue two of my own and I realized it was because they were getting too big for the space. As soon as I moved them out to their coop, they stopped. I also used the blu-kote on it and it worked wonderfully. I found the blu-kote at Tractor Supply.
