Help please. 1 yr Marans, swollen belly, runny poo, not roosting at night.

Hi all, I'm hoping someone can help. I have a 1 year old Marans who didn't go to roost last night, when I picked her up I noticed her belly (just below her vent) was nearly bald and swollen. She didn't like it being touched so I think it's sore.

The photo is straight after giving her a warm bath. She is in confinement, eating & pooing, though it's runny. She is a little lazy but stood up.

I don't intend to go to the vet so any possible diagnoses and home remedies are welcome.

Does it seem like fluid inside her belly? Could she be egg bound? Is she being feather picked by others? Calcium citrate with vitamin D given orally may help if she is egg bound. Can you tell us if she lays eggs? What does her poop look like?

It's not hard, whether it's fluid I'm not sure. Her poo looks reasonably good, lovely pics attached. She's not being pecked as she's in hospital (a dog crate). No egg since yesterday morning and I've no idea when she last laid.

She's eating a bit, will eat shrimps but not cabbage or beet greens.
