Help Please - Are these Duck eggs?

id say chicken. but its hard to say with just pictures.
you said they do feel alittle rough? thats another thing that screams chicken.
ducks eggs are smooth feel way differant then a chickens i put all my eggs in the same spot and i can tell each duck egg from chicken just from how it feels.
im sticking with chicken egg

Yes, the mystery swaps include ducks and turkeys and Guineas and geese. That's definitely not turkey or goose egg. The one for August was not separating into classifications, so you could get anything at all. Previous mytery swaps were divided into classes: pure chickens, mixed breed chickens, other (duck goose turkey guinea)

Aren't you supposed to send an email that you received your eggs? Who are you supposed to say sent them? If you know who sent them, you can ask what they are.

After talking to another BYC'er, that I think got eggs from the same lady I did, we think they're Polish. But I won't know until another 20 days.

There is a very simple way to tell if they are duck or chicken eggs. You cant tell by size or shape. The duck eggs always have a "waxy" coating on them. The chicken eggs are dry. All you have to do to understand this is lightly scratch a chicken egg and then do the same with the egg in question. You can easily tell by this method.
