Help Please! Barred Rock - choosing pullets at 5-6 weeks of age.

Newbie here...sorry if this has been beaten to death but how do I do my best at guessing the pullets vs Roos in 5-6 week old Barred Rocks? I'm starting with a small flock of four and cannot have Roos in my city so I have to choose well. The woman selling them can't guarantee her choice is correct either so I need some pointers. Thank you!

at that age if they have that much of a comb, they are probably males, and they barred rock females usually are darker than the males, good luck!

Other than color and comb size I find the boys bigger, friendlier and have bigger legs.

I heard Barred Rock roos are aggresive. Barred Rocks are not that hard to sex.

We have a Barred Rock Roo and he is NOT aggressive but he is the only Roo... He is awesome and takes care of his ladies...

it depends on the roo, some are mean like RIRs, and others can be really friendly =) mind you I've met some really friendly rirs too...

My friend had a REALLY mean RIR roo. But she got rid of him.
