I have an 8 wk old Amerucana chick that had been doing well until 2 or 3 days ago. She was fluffed out and droopy. I have seen her at the food dish but not eating much, same with water. She has now dropped a lot of weight. Her crop is soft and squishy. I thought maybe sour crop? Tried to get her to regurg with no luck. Haven't observed her poop yet. Her butt feathers are dirty, appears she has not been cleaning them. And now her wings are droopy. Any thoughts?

Any blood in her droppings? Other symptoms? Sorry I'm not helping much but your post will get a bump back up to the top.

Sounds like possible coccidiosis. Treat with Corrid powder 1/2 tsp per gallon of water mixed daily for 5 days. Follow this with vitamins. ALL your birds will have to be treated. Bloody poop can be a late sign so start treatment now.

Start NOW treating them all with Corid.....you can read my story if you look up my posts...I did not wait to see blood either....your post sounds just like mine...I had 3 who got sick and I had 14 total...I treated EVERYONE....they all are doing great. DO NOT WAIT....Cocci can kill in a short time, trust me, just read the tons of stories on here. Best wishes....
