Help please, chicken acting different.

Hi, my 14 week old Golden Comet has been acting “weird” in a corner of the coop. I took her out and put her on a chair right next to me and she wouldn’t try to fly away or nothing her crop looks full and her poop looked like watery yellow diarrhea. Any ideas what could it be? I separated her in a bin to monitor her overnight.

I read that too fast. Check her crop in the morning. Her poop looks like shes not getting proper nutrition which could be from a crop issue. More experienced people than I will hopefully chime in.

I might treat for possible coccidiosis with Corid liquid 2 tsp per gallon of water for 5-7 days. Encourage her to take some water food, egg, or yogurt. Recheck her crop early in the morning. It should be empty after going 8-10 hours without food.

Most feed stores and TSC sell it in the cattle medicines. If using the powder, use 1.5 tsp per gallon.

That looks like coccidiosis. You can buy Corid at your local tractor supply to treat it.
