I really need some help. I had a duck lay eggs in the bushes in the front of my house. She ended up laying 9 eggs. Some animal in the middle of the night ate six of them.
We saw a partial one in the driveway. We gave her a couple of days to come back but she abandoned the nest.
I used a heat lamp the first four evenings and then went and got a Magicfly incubator. I candeled them this morning and could see the beak in one of them. It has not
broken through the air sack though, I have no idea of how far along the are. I have tried so hard to keep them going and I dont want to mess up at the end.
I know they need to go into lockdown when ready to hatch but i have no idea of when i should start that. I am guessing they are around 20 days or so
Can someone help me on the best way to go forward please!! I ordered a real egg candeler and it should bere tomorrow. The small flash light is not good at all.
