Ok my duck Aflac`s foot in ingured. One of them or both. He uses his wings and his duck friend to balace and his wings to walk, he uses his beak to help him get up sometimes, and can't get in or out of his little kiddy pool. So I empty and refill his pull and pick him up and put him in there and he splashes around, goes under water and has fun. And I come out in a couple hours and get him out and put him at his food and makes sure he gets some food since it hurts him to walk over there. I looked at his feet and I didn't see any cut, scratches, or any unusual spots. Is there anything you can tell me why its like that? Like do you know what wrong, is there anything I could do to help him?

Our one remaining Runner keeps bleeding from her nostrils. She is a year old and otherwise in good health.
Initially we thought the Gander had wacked her with his wings and have isolated the Geese from her however`
this morning we let her out` no sign of blood. When she came out of the pond later her nostrils were bleeding.

She was last wormed about 3 weeks ago.

Her buddy was attacked and partially eaten by a critter` maybe a Badger which dug under the wire fence and rocks about 2 weeks back and she did seem depressed for a while wondering where her buddy had gone. We have since electrified all around the runq
She has been zapped once but now stays clear so it cannot be shocksq

We are very worried as she is more of a family pet and we have just set a batch of 17 eggs in the incubator to hopefully get her
a few palsq It is pointless going to the vet` we live in Bulgaria and although the vets are great with canines` felines etc. their knowledge of unusual pets is limited as most Bulgarians will slaughter critters rather than pay for professional treatmentq

I am scanning websites trying to find out if it maybe parasitic as we take the pond water from a spring fed streamq

Any info` even if you consider it may be trivial or a shot in the dark will be read and welcomed.

Thanks

My gut feeling is a sinus infection. Can you get ahold of oral antibiotics? I don't know what dosage to recommend but others here, and on the Emergencies forum, may be able to advise details.

Oregano is a natural antibiotic, could be worth a try, putting some in her feed. Actually, I would make an oregano tea or a chamomile tea, cool it down, and then drip just a little into her nares (nostrils) four times a day. And I would moisten her feed with the oregano tea as well (make sure feed does not get moldy)

I would give her a nice deep pot with water and apple cider vinegar in it, too. ACV is a tonic and antimicrobial.

Give her vitamins - if you cannot find poultry vitamins, something like Poly-Vi-Sol without iron is what others have used.
