Have been hatching chicks for years with 90% or above success but Pheasants are new this year. Have pair of Red Golden giving one egg every three days. (around 30 hrs) How many can I save before putting them in incubator?

Save em all! LOL! But Im assuming though that you mean you want to set them all at once. As for me I never let an egg of any kind lay out ever for more that 2 weeks and mainly even less than 10 days. Sometimes my red goldens will do this when they first start laying and they lay them all over, Later when my hens get serious though they make a nest . Then they lay an egg a day mainly or may skip a day then all eggs are deposited in the nest till they are done and start setting.

Red goldens usually lay every other day. After 15 days the fertility starts to drop rapidly,so after the 7th egg is laid you can set them. This way you can set each week. Are you going to let the hen set if she will?
