Help please for a lethargic hen

Hi, Some help please.

One of my old girls has become really lethargic. I know it is really hot here in Southern Spain but my other girls don't seem to be affected by the heat. She will lay all day and only move if you approach her. I have to pick her up to move her to shade and to get a drink. She isn't really eating either. The vets here wouldn't really consider treating a hen and my neighbours solution is to wring necks and I don't really want that unless she is suffering.
Any thoughts please.

Thanks.....they have a chicken paddling pool and they get their run hosed down to cool them off but normally they are free ranging. Will look into the supplements.
