HELP PLEASE! GNAAATTTSS!

Looking for some advice on what I can spray or put on my chickens for gnats. Located in southern Georgia and if anyone knows anything about it, they are TERRIBLE here! My poor chicks just stand around shaking their head and scratching their faces any help would be greatly appreciated!

I was reading a post the other day that mentioned vanilla, or vanilla scent. I believe it was in the pest and predator forum.

Welcome to BYC...sorry you are having trouble.

Those little buggers are awful, we have them here and they are all over me(nasty bites) but don't seem to bother the birds.

A fan in coop might help...or...you might find a solution in one of these threads:

I got fly things from Tractor Supply to hang in my duck stalls. They work really well. They are Proapp Insect Guard. You will find them on the fly wall. They work well on mosquitos. I don't have mites.
