Help Please...how do you edit your Subject line.

OK. I'm new to this forum, but I am not new to computers in general, but I need some help.

I see some subject lines that have been edited to include (UPDATE). I can't for the life of me figure out how to edit the subject line of my posts. I would like to do so to let people know that I got the necropsy report back, but I can't figure it out. Can anyone help me???

The "edit" link is between "report" and "quote" at the bottom corner of your post.
