Hi ,
Got my eggs two days early, but that's another post.
Just wondered what the humidity should be when setting them in the incubator for the first day and up til day 18, then after.
It's raining today, of course.
Humidity monitor indicates about 38 % with water in two trays. (Little Giant, still air).
I REALLY REALLY appreciate any help you guys can offer.
This is SOOOO EXCITING!!!!

I read about 50%-55% for after day 18, but what about the first few days? Anyone? Anyone?

i read of 50% for first 18 days then 55%-60% during lockdown.
Good luck on your hatch!!
hope i helped,
Gigi

You are going to get varying opinions on this question. I can give you my own opinion. Because I live in an extremely dry climate, I choose to stick with 40%, often called a dry hatch because it is less that most find desireable. But it works for me!!
