With proper assistance malpositions do just fine :) So a malposition isn't something to panic about, and we'll walk you through getting him hatched if it comes to that.

You might want to get some supplies on hand just in case - some coconut oil and some cotton swabs, and a pair of tweezers.

You are in good hands here you'll get all the help you need. I just hatched 2 goslings and they are slow and nerve wracking.

One tip I picked up here and works well, for future reference, is using a nail file to thin the shell to make putting in a safety hole easier. Then scratch a line with a screw until you get through the shell. No poking involved.

Ok... soak a sponge and pop it in the microwave to get it good and steamy then into the incubator. Watch the humidity.. it should get up to 70% preferably.... Pyxis may have a better solution and diff humidity she thinks would be better at this point but this will get it up fast and be ok until she pops in again.

I dont think I have a sponge, super freaking now. What about the wet paper towels???
