@EggsnQuackers-we did exactly that. We cut a hole in the lid large enough for their heads to get through with just a little extra growing room, as they do grow fast I'm finding out! [@]muscovy14-we are not using the heating lamp inside, only the fireplace and it has an adjustable thermostat. Thank you again everyone for the great advice and tips.
