Help Please! Poorly 1 day old chick

My australorp chick hatched under its mom this morning, 14 hours ago (6am). It just lieson its belly gasping, with its eyes closed. The mother has lost interest and I really dont know what to do

You need to get it under a heat source and dip your finger in some water and place it to the tip of the beak. If you can get it to drink a little then it is time to try it on some very soft scrambled egg.
But warmth and hydration are most important.

Would a desk lamp be ok, I've tried tiny drops of water but it doesnt
seem to be taking it?

If you can get the chick right up under it. Here's a link with the heat chart , for the first week it needs to be 90-95 . Give it a little time to warm up and then try it again on some water with a little sugar added.
