Do you have the equivalent of a 60 watt light bulb
you can shine down on it? Temp
should be about 95 degrees where the chick is. Do you
have a small plastic tub?Put some paper towels on the
bottom and set the towel nest on them. Put the
chick in the nest but do not wrap it in the towel.
No need to feed it for the 1st 2 days. It will live off the
yolk. Make up a small shallow saucer of sugar water
and dip the beak in it. A jar lid works well. If you are
concerned about the baby falling in the water, cut the
top one inch off a plastic soda pop cup and set it in the lid.
