So i found a chcken 3 months ago.. i guess it to be about a month old at the time.. i built a coop added some new friends and have learn t alot from this site. well the last few days. (started about a 2 weeks ago) at 6 am i hear a crowing bird.. I researched and from what i can find some hens do crow. but the last 3 days it has been crowing every morning and even when i am out there with them.
So now my question is, is it a rooster or a crowing hen?
I have a few pics to help.

Hens don't crow, he also has very thick legs and a large comb,I'd say it's for sure a rooster, also looks like a beautiful Rhode Island Red.

Definately a Rooster. No doupt. Just look at that head, the legs, and those neck feathers.

BTW: Hens do crow occasionally. I have a little Cochin that crows. She lays, has set and is broody again now, but still crows when she feels like it. It sounds exactly like the Rooster that is in the lot. It does confuse him when she crows at him.
