Help please ... What do you use to prevent Lice / Worms and Mites?

Different mite and flea drops work in different ways. Certain drugs prevent biting while others kill after the bite. I’m a vet tech. I know. Deal with this stuff all the time and you are preventing an infestation. Heart worm adults are what cause the damage so you are preventing the damage to the animal by administering every month. Don’t do the preventative treatment, then see what goes into treating the dog. Treatment can be deadly to the dog.
